Welcome to Get Locked In (the "Service"), operated at getlockedin.pro. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Get Locked In is a productivity and focus tool that uses gamified exercises, an in-app scoring system, and optional AI-assisted feedback to help users reduce procrastination and complete tasks such as reading, writing, and homework.

2. Accounts

• You may use the Service as a guest with limited features, or sign in with a Google account for additional features.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
• You agree to create only one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free trials, bonuses, or rewards is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Credits and Payments

• Certain features (such as AI-assisted grading) require "credits," which can be purchased with real money through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Credit pricing and the number of credits required per feature may change at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.
• Purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another user, or redeemed outside the Service.

4. Tickets and Cosmetic Rewards

• "Tickets" are an in-app reward earned through gameplay and may be redeemed for cosmetic items or, where offered, limited physical items.
• Tickets have no cash value, cannot be purchased directly, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Any physical items offered through the ticket system are provided at our discretion and may be limited in quantity or availability.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automated means to interact with the Service or manipulate scores, tickets, or credits
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit content that is abusive, harassing, or infringes on the rights of others

6. AI-Assisted Features

Certain paid features use third-party AI models to evaluate or grade user-submitted text. These evaluations are automated and may not always be perfectly accurate. We do not guarantee any specific grading outcome, and AI-assisted feedback should not be treated as professional academic, medical, or legal guidance.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its name, branding, mascot ("Larry the Lock"), design, and original content, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our branding or content without permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will help you achieve any particular academic or productivity outcome.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of academic performance, or loss of purchased credits due to technical issues.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, without obligation to refund any purchased credits.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
